 Prof Dora Nkem Akunyili’s remains will be laid in a beautifully made structure which shall become a mini museum immediately after her funeral.Her widower, Dr Chike Akunyili said since his late wife was like an
elephant, that whoever comes across her would tell his or her story differently, there is need to display all her unique awards and accolades for posterity to see why it is worth being patriotic at all time.
 

He added that it would be a disservice to the youths not to have a monument for people to visit for inspiration on an Amazon that lived for Ndi Igbo and Nigeria.

Prof Dora Akuyili stood for Nigeria and could not sacrifice Nigeria for anything till her death.

Dora we love you, dead or alive!

Her funeral is fixed for August 28, 2014.
